Jess - Salon Partner
Jess has been hairdressing for the better part of a decade now and is a backstage regular at fashion weeks around the country. She is a passionate Kerastase ambassador and loves using only the best products on her guests hair. She is drawn to the transformative power that hair dressing has and loves to see big dramatic changes involving extensions, highlights, permanent straightening, and colourful unicorn hair.
What drives you in the salon?… The people I work with! The whole team in the salon are so talented and hardworking, and so diverse in their skillset. I feel like I learn something from them every day. They are honestly such a fun bunch of people to work with.
Kingsley - Salon Director
Kingsley has been part of the OO Family for the past 5 years after walking in one day as a model and out with a job! He especially loves long, beautiful hair, and all aspects of tending to it – cutting and styling, highlights, and balayage. This OO veteran is all about keeping up to date with the latest trends and loves performing smoothing services like Bhave and Yuko straightening.
What are your three favourite things?… Video games, dogs, and nice restaurants!
Kathy - Master Stylist
Kathy has been hairdressing for 34 years. Joining Oscar Oscar in 2022 after relocating back from Melbourne where she pursed her goal of working at New York Fashion Week. Since joining the Oscar Oscar team Kathy has had the privilege to be apart of the Oscar Oscar education team.
What are your three favourite things?… My daughter, New York and Kate Spade.
What drives you in the salon?… The people I work with! The whole team in the salon are so talented and hardworking, and so diverse in their skillset. I feel like I learn something from them every day. They are honestly such a fun bunch of people to work with.
Cindy - Premier Stylist
Cindy has been hairdressing for 14 years now. Originally from Korea, Cindy relocated to Australia 5 years ago and hasn't looked back since! Cindy's passion is ensuing guests feel confident and leave loving their new style!
What are your three favourite things?... Family, crafts and board games!
Shahnele - Senior Stylist
Originally from New Zealand, Shahnele began hairdressing 20 years ago and has loved everyday in the industry since. From owning her own business to volunteering with charities like cancer society, Shahnele has experienced all parts of the industry and is so excited to now work alongside the OscarOscar brand.
When your not in the salon you will find me... Discovering new restaurants!
Shiloh - Senior Stylist
Shiloh loves all things hair! After being in and out of the industry it didn't take her long to realise her passion was being in the salon. Shiloh loves to create natural colours - whether that be creating a low maintenance effect or blending into your natural base!
My top 3 favourite things are ... my dog, my family and nature.
Hayley - Emerging Stylist
Hayley kicked off her hairdressing career with an apprenticeship at Oscar Oscar Chermside. Now, Hayley is an all-rounder stylist! If you’re looking for a luxe keratin treatment, or an ultra hair smoothing treatment, this is your girl. Hayley also specialises in long hair cutting, gorgeous down styling, and classic rich colour.
When I’m not in the salon, you’ll find me… at the beach! I love being out on the jetski.
Issey - Emerging Stylist
Issey first got a glimpse of the industry when I did work experience in 2020, from there Issey's passion for hair grew, and she knew she wanted to start a career in the hair industry. Fast forward to 2022 where Issey begun her apprenticeship with Oscar Oscar salons.
What are your specialties/skills...? I am an aspiring blonde specialist!
Hayley - Salon Co-ordinator
Originally from New Zealand, Hayley began her hairdressing career in 2017 and quickly became a blonde specialist however after 6 years on the floor, Hayley wanted to remain in the industry but work in a more admin based position. Since beginning her position at Oscar Oscar as salon Coordinator Hayley hasn't looked back!
When I’m not in the salon, you’ll find me… at the beach! I love being out on the jetski.
